Most people have cell phone that they carry with them every day, as they want to be able to communicate with their friend, families, and coworkers. Prayer is our cell phones that we do every day and everywhere, as we want to stay in touch with God. Jesus taught us the importance of prayer and gave us the blueprint for praying in Matthew 6:9-13.

Parent Connection:

Could you imagine trying to have a best friend without communicating with them? Prayer is seeking God and His direction for our lives. Praying also helps keep us out of trouble. Jesus told us to pray. Praying will keep us close to God.
